Holding company

Portrait and history

From tradition to innovation: experience as the basis for a new beginning.

Bios International originated from thirty years of experience acquired in the complex area of healthcare. It is now positioned to service this high-specificity value chain and, while undergoing dynamic evolution, is addressing the various actors, including providers, in the healthcare systems of Italy and worldwide.

Orientated towards translational research as a tool for usable innovation, Bios International offers concrete responses in the form of products, organisational and process models, training, and , more recently, support for health tourism.

Through Bionoor, a subsidiary of the Group, and thanks to its intellectual osmosis with the Fondazione Livio Patrizi, which is the inspirational motor and “good corporate citizen” of the holding company, Bios International makes a fundamental contribution to the scientific community through research projects shared with academia, industry, and research centers.

Profile of the Chairman:
A physician by vocation and passion, Dr. Maria Patrizia Patrizi became an entrepreneur, and then founded the new Bios International Holding.
Taking a proactive role in the complex Italian healthcare field, she devoted herself with great sensibility and sense of vocation to constructing advanced models of care and sustainable systems of social healthcare. Over time, this led her to the conviction that she should create a new diversified platform, one that would aim for its general goal of expressing a single set of values:
life sciences at the service of people, enabling the creation of a biomedicine of excellence, based on fairness and equal access.

Today the company is known for the full attention it pays to resources, primarily human resources; for its consolidated synergies with the scientific community, which in recent times have produced excellent joint outcomes; for a team of people who share the Chairman’s passion, generosity, and dedication to work; and for a leadership that favours a shared approach to management.
